Increase Shop Location Setup

Challenge

A large number of users had not completed their shop location setup inside the Khatabook app. This was an important step because shop location data helps improve user profiles and supports better product journeys in the future. The challenge was to nudge users at the right moment without making the experience complicated.

AppStorys Solution

Khatabook uses AppStorys to launch an in-app modal for users who had not set up their shop location. The modal clearly prompted users to complete their shop location setup and appeared directly inside the app experience, making the action more visible and easier to complete.

Move Users from Old App Version to Latest Version

Challenge

Khatabook wanted to move users from an older app version to the latest version. This was important to ensure users had access to the newest features, improved experience, and better app performance. The challenge was that many users do not update apps unless they are strongly prompted to do so.

AppStorys Solution

Khatabook uses AppStorys to launch a full-page modal for users on the older app version. The modal was designed as a forced upgrade prompt with no cross button or skip option. This ensured that users clearly saw the update message and were guided toward upgrading before continuing.

Challenge

Khatabook uses AppStorys PiP video format to target users who were most likely to apply for a loan. The PiP video stayed visible inside the app experience and helped explain the loan offering in a more engaging format compared to a standard banner or text-based prompt.
